Hi Shannon97, Good news that your ecg was good today. If you're stressed or nervous it's normal for your pulse to speed up a bit, so don't worry about it. Try to find something to do to take your mind off it. Hope you feel better soon.x

I'm learning about a new approach to handling health things like this. Basically the base cause of anxiety, fast pulse, etc is our system is running on norepinephrine (brain chemical). Once you can get switched to running from dopamine all that stuff ceases. How does one get there? A very basic path is as follows - Everyday do at least one from 1. go for a mild walk or light yard work or listen to soothing music or lie on the floor or say the alphabet backwards. Then immediately do something from 2. Listen to upbeat music or do muscle squeezing exercises, or do a creative project, or read educational books or do things with your non-dominant hand. Then do at least two things from 3. Do intuitive practices like art or writing or random dancing or random exercise or make random patterns with beads, or intuitive walking or driving. Best wishes to you.
