It's a calcium channel blocker which makes RLS worse for most.
Cinnarizine (Stugeron) is a drowsy (sedating) antihistamine AND a calcium channel blocker so will make RLS worse for many.
However the same thing is said of promethazine (Avomine), another sedating antihistamine, but I took 1 x 25mg Avomine for motion sickness mid-morning a few weeks ago - as it was all I could find at the time - without ill effects (or motion sickness!)
It may in part depend on your own susceptibility, but also when and how much you take.
I decided to take a risk, balancing "I might puke in my friends car" against "I might have a bad RLS night"
