Has anyone had a bad reaction to clonazepam? I think it makes RLS worse.

Clonazepam
As stated to your previous post Betty- the Ropinirole is the problem. You have to get off that first very slowly.Once you've done that with the help of Dr Berkowski, he will set up a schedule to get you off all the other drugs you are on.
I was on Clonazepam (Clonopin) for many years and it did nothing to help my severe RLS. Got up to 5 mg per night. All it did was make me a zombie the next day. You might fall asleep because your mind is so heavily drugged but your legs and arms will still kick violently. It has a long half life and it took all day for the serum level of this drug to lower enough for me to feel normal and awake. This drug was given to me as a sleep aid and other drugs were tried simultaneously to deal with the RLS. Nothing worked until Buprenorphine came along (narcotic pain meds also work). Suddenly I felt normal again and was reasonably well awake during the daytime. Knowing then what I know now about Clonopin, I would never have taken it for even a single night.
