Yet again, another treatment that fails for those of us damaged by years on poisonous DAs.Gabapentinoids and iron infusions fail many patients for this reason as well. We are then restricted to opioids and in the UK, trying to persuade doctors to prescribe opioids is very difficult.
The medical profession and big pharma have a lot to answer for!
I agree. Too many in the medical establishment are willing to under-prescribe low-dose opioids because they don't know the difference between RLS patients and those who would abuse their opioid prescriptions. Of course, the DEA in the US is largely responsible for the fear that many doctors feel in this regard.
