On Madopar for Parkinson's and it helps my RLS. Currently just on a low dose, but without it the RLS would be unbearable. I read about augmentation but what do I do as I have Parkinson's?

If you have augmentation you might discuss with your doctor if a low dose opioid would be appropriate.

My HWP has RLS too. He is on Rytary n low dose 2mg Neupro. Slowly trying to reduce Neupro bc excess daytime sleepiness. He can't stop Rytary which is extended release of carbidopa levodopa as his PD symptoms would get worse. Generally w PD your madaopor will increase bc of PD symptoms as your brain makes less n less dopamine. It's a quandary treating most dominate symptoms. Also, RLS in PD could be related to periodic limb movement. My husband's are as he cannot walk it off at times.
