Ghost pepper helps with rls?

Hi. I was wondering if anyone else has had any good results with ghost pepper? Normally my husband, who suffers from severe rls through whole body, can't t drive after 4 or 5 in the evening, he would have severe movement in arms and legs from rls. We went for wings last night at Mojo Grill, he signed a waiver to eat their ghost pepper wings. Not only did he drive home without complications he was up watching tv till 8:30! Oh, he also forgot to take his rls pill at dinner. Our friends couldn't believe it. He is usually in bed by 6:30 because his rls is so bad.

Fascinating . I’ve never heard of ghost pepper- presume it’s one of those ‘burn your mouth and throat’ strong peppers.

Let us know if it works again- although not sure I’d manage to eat it.

What an interesting thing.

I've never heard of ghost pepper before. I'm guessing it's a mega hot chilli pepper.

Chilli pepper stimulates the body to release endorphins, that's possibly what's helping the RLS.

I also find it interesting that your husband goes to bed when his RLS is bad. Does this help? What happens when he goes to bed?

We are all different, when my RLS is bad, bed is a totally unbearable place to be!

Me too, RLS gets me out of bed. Driving and activity keeps my RLS at bay.

He goes to bed because because the meds make him collapse because he's so tired.

I suppose you could say that the meds work then, in a fashion.

When my RLS was at its worst, I was past collapse, but I couldn't stay in bed.

I wonder what time he takes his meds, if he has to go to bed.early then he could try taking them later.

If he takes them earlier because he gets symptoms earlier then there may be issues with the medication he's taking, possibly augmentation.

He was in augmentation and the dr put him on hydrocodone to help him sleep. Can't take any later because legs get real bad.
