Monoferric Iron Infusion

My husband had 4 iron infusions, 3 in 2022 and the last one in May of 2023. They helped his RLS to be less severe and he was getting a bit more sleep. Our doctor hasn't been able to book another at our local hospital since. I contacted a clinic in a neighbouring city (Oshawa, ON, Canada) and they are willing to give him a mono ferric iron infusion provided our doctor requests it.

My question: is this the type of iron that is recommended for RLS patients?

Thanks in advance for your help.

It should be fine It was mentioned in the Winter 2023 Nightwalkers magazine (put out by the Restlesslegs Foundation).
