Coverage of RLS?

The title is not quite right, but I should have asked this long ago (for general benefit all the time).

The title for this group is "Restless legs syndrome"

What other ailments are covered in this header?

Sleep apnoea

PLMD (think that is RLS?)

REM sleep disorder?

it may be helpful to have "other titles -meaning the same thing"

We just deal with RLS or Willis Eckbom syndrome.

However, due to the incredible breadth of knowledge and the kindness of our "staff" we deal with innumerable queries.

All the ones you mention, plus peripheral Neuropathy and MS are touched on.

We have even been known to address the arcane areas of alternative medicine, .

We are not fussy about our time and freely give out of the depths of our psuedoignorance.

Actually-- some bods on here know quite a bit about RLS - but I would be struck of if I mention names.

Please note that it is a great help if we approach this site with a healthy sense of humour. Although I totally understand that some people will be at the end of their tethers by the time they get here.

Do have a nice day. And thanks for posting.💚👍

Thanks so much Madlegs. Yes always right to have humour (my puns are dreadful), but I digress thanks as always to the advisers on here. No they are not medically qualified, but often know more about their dilemma than some doctors. You know to whom i refer. (And your good self)

Officially this is the European Alliance for Restless Legs Syndrome (EARLS) and RLS-UK forum.

EARLS is a non-profit, independent alliance of national patient organizations from European countries and works to raise awareness of RLS.

RLS-UK is a registered charity, providing help and support to people living with Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) and Periodic Limb Movement Disorder (PLMD).

There is an unrelated separate smaller HU group that deals with sleep problems including apnoea, insomnia etc which I've never investigated:

But as Madlegs1 writes, a whole lot of topics relating to sleep disorders, movement disorders and all sorts of things also get raised here.

Sometimes things get posted here which would clearly be better elsewhere. For example there's another large group for Parkinson's:

There are also other smaller groups covering MS, Neuropathy etc:

The reason so many topics are touched on here is most of them are related to RLS.
