Well, after a few months of being part of this wonderful community, I want to give feedback from information received. When I first contacted I was severest depressed as a direct result of no sleep for two weeks and severe rls.

I am now on Agomelatine, 25mg daily and feel like a normal human being.

I have totally changed my diet. Lots of any fruit and vegetables, all diary, protein, wholemeal grains. No caffeine and no alcohol. NO sugar or preservatives.

I eat nothing after 7pm.

I have been taking a tsp of the fresh ginger, garlic and honey mixture daily.

My very helpful physio has lent me a pair of compression boots, label Blackroll. I put these on every evening for about 40 minutes.

I remain on Targin, 40mg per day.

I am just about off premapaxil, taking 0.025mg every second day. I should finally be totally off this in about two weeks.

I am just having my bloods done to make sure they are OK.

With the help of all of you wonderful people, I am feeling better than I have felt in years. I have had severe RLS for over 40 years.

It is good to share that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I know this may not last for long, but am really appreciating the moment and the fact that there is knowledgeable people out there who totally understand. THANK YOU.

You are doing a lot. What do you feel made the most difference?

I think the change in diet has been the main positive contributor, and in particular, eating nothing after 7pm. Takes a lot of will to change habits at 66yrs old but definitely worth it.
