I had my iron levels tested and all is good, not a candidate for infusion.
Dr. Buchfuhrer suggested I switch from oxycodone to buprenorphine and tonight I did.
Was nervous to go off of Oxy as it worked, but I noticed it was wearing off earlier and earlier. At 5 mg three times a day, I didn’t want to go up in dosage. Dr. B. said the buprenorphine will last longer and that that was a good reason to switch..
so far so good. RLS and neuropathy were kicking in tonight and the med knocked them out!

Good news. For me and several others the buprenorphine works well without dose increase already for about 3 years. My only problem is fatigue/lethargy.
I too have both rls and neuropathy (not diabetic). Have to wonder if there’s a connection. Also have rheumatoid arthritis and there’s some evidence of a link with neuropathy. In my case happened simultaneously.
