The MHRA is encouraging people to report adverse side effects via the Yellow Card Scheme.

If you have suffered drug induced worsening on Ropinirole, Pramipexole or the Neupro patch, please report to help raise awareness among medical professionals.

Ropineroke is not a nice drug but I have been taking it for over 8 years now. I drink de caffeinated coffee, no alcohol, take it an hour before bed and when the hour is nearly up, I feel a bit nauseous and drowsy so go to bed. My legs can be rest, ess for a while but it generally passes and I sleep quite well. I take extra in the day if needed and this has fewer side effects. I could not imagine trying to manage without it.

Sadly, it sounds like you are experiencing drug induced worsening of your RLS, caused by Ropinirole. Augmentation.

It's extended to your shoulders & arms so you definitely are suffering augmentation.

The ONLY solution is to reduce slowly by 0.25mg every 2 weeks. You may need low dose opioids with each reduction to settle the severe RLS.

But once off Ropinirole, your RLS WILL reduce in severity and you can start better treatment as per the Mayo Clinic Algorithm.
