Ok folks i said i would let you know if this worked for me. Well it did no RLS all night. the down side i had insomnia all night except for about an hr sleep. ? 🙄. I don’t know if it’s because my sleep pattern is off because i have had so many sleepless nights of pacing ? The lorazepam i take should have let me sleep as it was prescribed for panic attack and sleep. 🤔

The Therapulse
Hi Elisse, that must have been a weird and somewhat frustrating experience. I assume you did get quite a bit of rest. To be able to sit or lie still and relax, without the creepy feelings must have been wonderful after all these relentless nights. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 the quiet feeling persists, sleep will then definitely return.
Thank you Lotte even just laying awake and legs all calm was great. I will keep going with it for now although you do need two of them so one is charging while you use the other one. The charge isn’t for long it soon runs out.
Hm. The batteries running out quickly is not a good thing. But I think you first want to continue for a few days or more to see whether the effects persist.
I have been using a massage gun now and then. For me, it doesn't quell the symptoms, but I find it is an alternative to shaking, walking and stretching, allowing me to remain seated during an attack. Which is useful when one is tired and sleepy.
I tried one of those massage things you put your feet on awful it just set my RLS off that was a few years ago If one can lay still it sure is better than in and out of bed i wish it worked to calm your legs Yes one night isn’t enough to be sure this will work each night
That is very interesting. You may find that the years of sleep disruption have messed with your body's natural sleep cycle.Hopefully, over time, that will balance itself out.
It's a shame the charge doesn't last long enough for you. Have you reported that to the makers?
I was thinking the same my body clock is out of zinc. The batteries running out seems to be what they do , reading other reviews. Don’t think there is anything wrong with them. Will give it more time fingers crossed i get some sleep at night. Will let you all know. 😊
Therapulse works for me but I'm trying herbal sleep remedies...Sweet Bee nighttime honey helps ...but I don't take any meds...Glad it's helping you...😊
When I finally got meds that worked I found out that I had insomnia. Nothing helped until I tried CBD gummies designed for sleep. Works every night!
Elise when I was using using therapulse I talked a lot to one of the directors (SO helpful) and they are aware of short battery life & are trying to address it.It was 2 doctors who came up with the idea when trying to help their patients.
Can you not have both batteries fully charged & put them on at the same time?
I used to fall asleep with them both whirring.
I used them successfully for about a year until my rls broke through.
And by the way folks, after 30 years of night wandering it is now a habit.
So even after the wonderful buprenorphine I am still up & down in the night.
But not having rls is just such bliss that if I get up a lot it is still lovely not having the nerves going.
i am 73 and retired so I can have 40 mins sleep in the afternoons which keeps me going.
All the best
Simkin
I only have one was going to see if it actually worked before i bought another one. They definitely need to make those batteries last longer.I guess after a year your body got used to those inpulses Seems nothing last forever for us whether meds or gadgets
Hi Elisse have you tried Kalms they work most of the time for me
Glad you found therapulse works 👍
No i havent. its valerian root can make you very drowsy. wouldn’t be any good for me. Glad it was helpful for you.
Thanks. How long does a battery last? You would think with all the battery research going on they would be able to produce a battery that goes all night! I had a medical device that I had someone make up a replacement battery for - they are not that complicated. But obviously you dont want to be fiddling with a new useful device.
I think it last for an hr and half? Takes an hr to fully charge.
Realized I was thinking of TOMAC (Nidra) the nerve stimulator.
