I have seen a couple of people in the RLS community say that in addition to various meds (pregabalin, gabapentin), they also take indica gummies with a few mg of cbd to assist with sleeping and muscle twitching/myoclonus/plms. For those who have had success in not only sleeping but suppressing these spasms/twitches , would you recommend thc gummies with a few mg of cbd in each one? Or would you rather go for a pure cbd gummy? For some, it seems as though the thc aids in insomnia. I have also read articles that stated that CBD has anti-convulsionary properties that may assist in those with myoclonus and plms. Which would you recommend to an individual who has trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. A hybrid? Or CBD free without THC? Also what doses did you take when you began?
The one I am looking at right now are the Elderberry Gummies which have 25mg of cbd and 5mg of cbn in each one. Here's the link to anyone curious.
I have great results with two brands of 5mg THC&CBN gummies. The first is "Sleepytime" by Absolute Extracts, the second is I think just "sleep" by Froot. I don't know the exact blend in either one, and of course don't know what's available outside of my area, but if you look them up you should be able to find what they're a mix of.
I use a product that helps me sleep. Each gummy contains 10 mg of Delta 9 THC and 10 mg of CBD. Usually within an hour of taking it I get very sleepy. The good part is that if I wake up at 1 am to pee, I am usually able to lie down again and continue sleeping until 5 or 6 am. This is a lot of sleep for me, since it adds up to 6 or 7 hours a night. I buy the product at a local store but it is also available online. I use a whole gummy but the label says to start with only a half gummy and see how it affects you.
I am in Australia and have CBD/THC oil and also CBD oil. All have good effects but I find the vaping of flower the most powerful as it has an instant effect. I tend to get RLS at odd times in the night and if a hot shower, a walk barefoot on wet grass do not work to settle, or I simply cannot sleep a few puffs of my medically prescribed flower calms my body and mind in quite a deep way enabling me to get 8 hours sleep.
