I researched this and found that restless legs responds well to this so I went for it.

I would highly recommend this as I’ve had severe RLS for years and I’ve had a lot of relief and my leg pain has gone

Thanks so much for sharing. How many sessions did you have before you experienced relief?

Can you explain what it is please

It’s a form of therapy that uses precise and gentle, rolling hand movements with motions that focus on the muscles, tendons, and ligaments, along with the fascia and skin around them to treat a wide variety of ailments from pain to migraine to high blood pressure. The idea is to reduce pain by stimulating the nervous system. It is not a medical treatment. It was created by a lay person who claimed the therapy could reset the body’s response to pain. There’s limited scientific proof that Bowen therapy works. The treatment hasn’t been widely researched. There are a few studies on its effects, but the results don’t provide hard evidence.

I’m afraid it did nothing for me. Hope you have better luck.

I don't want to be the voice of doom but the Bowen Technique has never helped my RLS. I have had several treatments for other problems, mainly joint or nerve pain, when it has helped enormously but it's made no difference to my RLS. As one has to pay privately for this treatment, I would urge caution before you embark on it. However, as we always say, everyone is different when it comes to RLS!

hate to spoil your show but I had this treatment a few years ago it cost me a fortune and it was a complete waste of money at first I thought it was working but I think it was a placebo effect after 4 sessions and a lot of expenses I was back to square one my rls was worse than ever!

oh what a shame I know after 3 sessions at £35 a session- I didn’t think that was bad- it’s recommended to have a top up every 4/6 weeks

Sorry it was no good for you
