My neurologist told me CBD enhances drugs. Since I don't believe much that he says I looked it up. Here is a list of drug types that may interact - anti-seizure meds is listed. cfah.org/cbd-drug-interacti...

This site mentions the grapefruit rule. cbddosagecalculator.com/CBD...

I was taking 300 mg gabapentin and 3 CBD oil caps per night and was extremely dizzy in the AM. He said Oh maybe I cold give you a lower dose, then changed his mind a said to try LYrica. I stopped the CBD.

Of course if you're not on any drugs I don't see a problem.

All the best to you.

My experience reflects that. I tried medically prescribed CBD oil. I took it alongside my usual dose of Lyrica (300mg). I found i was even more spaced out than usual.

I stopped the CBD after I went through a traffic light and subsequently realised I hadn't noticed the colour of the light.

hI Amrob, thankyou for your reply, ooh lord,if anything was to deter me what happened to you surely would,I'm very aware this is not the case for everyone but I'll give the gummies a miss.

I do believe it was the combination of Lyrica and the CBD oil that was the problem. Good luck with whatever your next step is.O

hI cateagle, thankyou for replying and for the information listing the drugs.I do take one of these drugs daily so I'm not gonna take the cbd gummies, think I've tried almost everything suggested I suppose like fellow sufferers everything is soo worth a try.

my experience with CBD is that it is largely ineffective on its own. I’d also caution against using it if you’re on prescription drugs.

So much is unknown in pharmacology regarding CBD interactions with other drugs long term.

One gummy did absolutely nothing for me. Two gave me 'cotton mouth' making it feel difficult to swallow and making me feel breathless.

i didn't try experimenting with 1.5.

oh please don't disregard the benefits of CBD. I use Luvive.com CBD Sleep. I believe it helps. I also use Melaleuca MelaOut Magnesium and I do an exhaustive number of deep knee bends before bed w very low levels of Gabapentin and Pramipexole as I totall get off of Pramipexole

I am not on any prescription medication actions after withdrawing Pramipexole due to augmentation. I use a TNS unit with pretty good results. I occasionally add CBD gummies and I do find I sleep much better and do seems to have less intense RLS e we hen I do I don’t wake up feeling groggy, so the others are having CBD /drug interactions.

I did try a THC gummy while on vacation (5 mg.) and had the best night sleep without waking with RLS at all. Had no grogginess the next day. Can’t do that on a regular basis as my job does random drug testing

I am on Oxycodone for my RLS but use CBD capsules from Syncronicity to help with sleep. It is from the hemp plant not marijuana plant. I had been taking 100mg and recently increased it to 150mg. The increase has made a difference. I still wake up but fall back to sleep more easily. If I have trouble getting back to sleep I take a hit of Delta 8 Indica THC using a vape pen. After much experimentation I’ve found that this combination of the three have worked well for me. I wish you well in finding what works for you.

hI BeachGolfer, thankyou for replying, I'm happy for you that you've found some relief, it seems we sufferers have to try everything and so decide for ourselves what helpsmy gp admitted today that she knows little or nothing about RLS and suitable meds so it's all down to the help and advice we get on this forum, good luck.

a friend recommended these. She cuts them into 16 pieces because they are so strong! She uses them for her migraines. I was going to get them for my hubby but his pain level is much better now.

I have given up all my RLS meds due to augmentation and side effects. I take 75mg of CBD 2 hrs before bed and it gets rid of my restless leg all night. No side effects.
