As I advised before, definitely see your GP about the muscle aches and pains. Sounds like arthritis but your GP will do blood tests and hopefully xrays or ultra sound to check.

Swollen feet and legs is related to gabapentin. It causes water retention and swelling in the lower limbs. It can reduce over time but mention it to your GP.

If you're sleepy in the day, condider taking the gabapentin in the evening and at night only. Most people don't need it in the day as the RLS mainly affects people in the evening and at night.

Arthritis wouldn't cause muscle pain, although it does cause pain in the joints. (I have arthritis)

I know. He refers to aches in hip and knee joints.

I have edema in my lower limbs, which I can live with. There are some over the counter products you can try although they didn't help me. Unless the edema is severe and really bothers you, I wouldn't take a diuretic for it but that is just my opinion. Do drink lots of water as paradoxically that helps.

Thanks Sue I would rather have this than R.L.S .
