Thankyou SueJohnson, long may it last.may I put something to you.im soo frustrated with the length of time I have to wait just for the receptionist to pick up the phone.i rang this morning 9.03am,waited for 45mins.when I did get through,I mentioned this to the receptionist, I wanted the doc.to ring me to find out about my new meds"still waiting for the Doc.to ring me,it's now12.28pm.i really feel that I was being harassed as the receptionist asked for my name, address, date of birth,I said but you have my name and number which I had given and which is usually all she needed before,I asked if I could speak to the practice manager, said she wasn't available, ooh what to do.

Ooh thankyou for replying, I'm aware that this isn't the forum for such upsets.its not the first time I had a problem getting through but the rudeness of the receptionist is frustrating. I'm in my 70s now and unsure of where to find a suitable surgery. When I rang I was number 4 in the queue now I know they are busy but how can that possibly be ,I would be afraid that in future I would be ill and need medical help what would happen.
