Just looked at the video. It sounds interesting but my only concern is that we all seem to have different causes of our RLS so this might not work for everyone. Also, the female patient was taking Ropinirole & waking at 2am, taking another Ropinirole & then sleeping until 5am. After the op she slept through one night until 6.30am.
She's still taking Ropinirole.
I'd like evidence it works on someone not taking medication before I considered something so invasive.
And evidence that it is still working months after the op.
I don't know where the video is or what the Nerve is everyone is talking about.I had a nerve Decompression done on both legs. The Common Peroneal Nerve. Done by a podiatry doctor. He claimed it had helped several unfolds but not all. It did not do anything for me. Unfortunately. I can tell you what odd help. Iron infusion. The only solution if you can get it and afford it. Peace!
I asked Anderson podiatry if the lady was still on Ropinirole as I suspect her severe RLS was due to augmentation. She is still taking Ropinirole and Anderson podiatry say she hopes to start reducing Ropinirole after the second leg operation.
I honestly think she should have reduced & stopped Ropinirole first, tried raising serum ferritin and tried pregabalin/gabapentin or low dose opioids before having this operation.
