Hi, that sounds painful. When you have surgery make sure that they give you an RLS friendly anti nausea medication such as Zofran. Many others exacerbate symptoms . Good luck.x

Hi Carolie, I can sympathize. I had both of my hips replaced in 2019 (at different times). I was very concerned about how I would do with the RLS. I shared information from RLS.org with my surgeon and anesthesiologist. And I found that I didn't have a lot of trouble. I was walking the same day after surgery, and climbing stairs the next day, so whenever I needed to move I could. I hope your outcome goes as well. Just wanted to reassure you. You'll be glad that you had it done.
