I read in the Summer 2021 issue of Nightwalkers, a publication of the RLS foundation in Austin, TX about 2 women in the Seattle area whose RLS symptoms totally disappeared after receiving the second Moderna vaccine dose. One woman had RLS for 40 years and was beginning to augment on pramipexole. They apparently were not doing anything different except for getting the vaccine.
Has anyone out there had a similar experience or heard of this happening in their geographic area? Makes me think what in the Moderna vaccine is actually helping with RLS. Could be a breakthrough moment if many others have had the same experience. I've had the Pfizer vaccine with no effect on my RLS.

Wow. Sounds fascinating. I have had 2 Pfizer and made no difference but it would be fantastic if it helps or if the technology can be adapted to work on RLS.
Had an adverse reaction or the first Moderna vaccine, I reported it, thought I had pneumonia for about 6 hours, couldn’t breathe, then mysteriously went away. I laid low (rested) after the second shot. I had now issues.
No affect on my RLS, if anything my RLS was worse for a couple days.
I had the moderna vacinne 2 of them and the only thing happened to me after my second vaccine is I woke up with a headache and like i was run over by a truck and very out of it for at least 2 days
I was unable to have the second Moderna vaccine because the side effects of the first were so severe. Side effects included peripheral neuropathy and confusion among other things, and lasted over a week. Seems like something in the vaccine affects the brain, happily positively for those women. For me, not so much.🙁
