My RLS started after a knee replacement 7 yrs ago. I’m scheduled for a hip replacement in August but since I already RLS, not concerned. I’m wondering if the increased RLS in your limbs may be augmentation from your meds. You might want to try a non dopaminergic medication. Requip is what made mine RLS worse. Now control with CBD. Working well so far.
My husband’s rls started after his knee replacement too. So your rls is controlled with cbd? Would you mind saying which one? There are so many and it’s impossible to know which ones are good. Glad it’s working for you.
Hi, Sorry I have tried CBD THE MOST EXPENSIVE ONE £175 a bottle did not work for me but it works for some ,I have tried all the whacky cures no luck the only thing that helps me so far is Pramipexole for 30 years start at 125mg i table 1 hour before bed or lower dose and build up ,hope this helps good luck .
Hi. I have been on the Pramipexole for over 20 years now and have gone from 125 mg per night to 2.5 grams every evening. I did not want to take any stronger doe of the Pramipexole so am now taking magnesium through the afternoon and evening to hold the RLS from starting up. I also take it if I am driving anywhere. I then take the Pramipexole mid evening and 300 mg of Gabapentin just before going to sleep. I am now getting a quite decent night's sleep and only a vague minor RLS sensation ( can live with that) in my right lower leg. I live with the dream that someone will come up with a cure in the near future..
