Hi, I have reponded to several private messages recently re the above, so just in case it`s of interest to a wider audience, I`m coming to the end of a two Month trial via the Project Twenty21. of Satoline oil 5%THC. unfortunately for me it hasn`t made the slightest difference to my RLS, the only slight upside is I don`t have to budget for the ongoing £150 approx. a Month repeat prescription, overall I`m disapointed but glad to have had the opportunity of trying it. So it`s back to the nightly Pregab/Kratom regime which in the main enables me to get just enough broken sleep to enable me to function normally the next day, I do very very occasionally after a run of not very good nights in desperation take the smallest possible dose of Ropinirole and yes 1year plus after the dreaded Augmentation it still works like a charm.

Thanks for sharing...hearing the good, bad and indifferent outcomes helps put all these different treatment approaches into perspective.

At the same time, i'm sorry to hear it didn't work out for you. Hopefully in time there's something even better out there for you than your pregab/kratom regime.

Sorry to hear. I use the 20% THC oil and it doesn't stop the RLS but it puts me into 'deep' sleep for 3/4 hours which is great for me. I only use 0.6ml a night so it works out around £1.50 a day.Kratom has been the best ever result so far for RLS but sadly, I developed severe panic attacks on it so had to stop.

Interesting about the Ropinirole. I have vowed never to touch it again after horrendous withdrawal. I suspect it may be something I have to reconsider if I can't get methadone or Buprenorphine in the UK.

Do you get side effects from it? I have tried a 5%oil via Project 21 but I felt nauseous and headachy the next day so stopped.x

I normally get side effects with everything but for some reason, no side effects to the 20% oil.

That's good news. What's the brand name?

Champlain Althea. Think it comes from Australia.

I take 6mg slow release which generally work but not always,iam76 fed up with the whole experience

Thank you for your post. This mirrors my experience using THC/whole plant cannabis extract to treat my rls. It didn't make any difference. For a while it seemed to help with sleep provided the RLS symptoms were treated with other drugs but I'm not sure it even does that any more. I do like the way it takes me out of my own head a bit though and I continue to take it intermittently for that effect. I never in a million years thought I'd end up in late middle age taking these sorts of drugs. RLS has been a real journey for me.

Yes I know the feeling, always most reluctant to take any meds at all, and now here I am just about prepared to try anything legal or otherwise, a sucker for any passing quack with the latest elixir.

Hi Bumble34 I had ropinerole in the early days since then been on all sorts. Gabapentin & tramadol had reaction to both. The nupro patch was great but I became skin sensitive. I am now on pregablin 75 mgs 6pm & 10pm also pramipexole 180 micograms at 10pm & 60mgs codiene at 10pm. I am in UK & my meds are prescribed by my nurologist but are covered under NHS for cost. Hope this helps shaft1952

Hi Shaft, Yes I`m also in the UK so Pregabalin is an NHS script but the Kratom I rely on is of course a cost to me as indeed is/was the med/can.

It is awful that we need to pay for meds, we need more research, into drugs used for RLS xx

I had to go off of Ropinerole because of augmentation. I now take a low dose (600mg) of Gabapentin and ONE Ropinerole at night. I have very good results. I never take more than one and have had no augmentation.
