Hello everyone.
I began to worry about an internal itch. It can't be scratched. I even have it in my forehead and neck. Has anyone else done this?

Hi Sahara
I am currently awake trying to get over the body itch that prevents sleep so yes you do have fellow sufferers. A common side effect of any opioid is internal itch. Could this be your case? I take only 5 mg of Methadone for my RLS which is a Godsend for relief by the way, but it does cause itching. Usually the 75 mg of Pregabalin that I take to offset the itching works well for me, but not tonight. Just letting you know you are not alone. Would love to be able to find a sure remedy for the itching!
I have never had internal itching from Dihydrocodeine. I've never had any other type of opioid though.
That’s how I describe my worst RLS symptoms when it gets going. There’s the main feeling in my legs but sometimes/often when it wakes me I feel it in my head, under hair, forehead, back & arms & sort of scratch rub & wriggle & even though I know it won’t help I just do it. I am on no treatment for RLS & haven’t been for ages. To me it feels part of my RLS
I have the same thing 🙁
I get the itching in my legs and just scratch away, has anyone tried magnesium cream or oil, I read it might help.
Hi.O get itching from Tramadol. Sadly opioids have this side effect. X
