Possibly due to pregabalin only, it is happening because i take gabapentin and i can confirm i get the same all over itching, basically its sort of itch you can't itch. Lol

Targin is Oxycontin is opioid. Therefore common side effect of opioids.Should wear of after a few weeks.

Eurax cream can help.

Beware of taking antihistamines.

Cetrizine might help and won't make rls worse.

Good luck.

Ok-- obviously something else is causing it.

What has changed at the time the itching started?

This week I changed pregabalin to 50mg and halved Targin to 5/2.5 it looks like a little less itching but the rls starts now earlier in the day. I still think that one of the two are doing it.

I have had big problems with itching from some opioids but not others. Tramadol causes some itching for me which can mostly be relieved by oral NON-DROWSY antihistamines. Other types of antihistamines make RLS much worse. I used Zyrtec or xyzol. I only take it in the morning. When I needed 100 mg tramadol instead of 50 (after many years at 50) the antihistamine wasn't enough. I ended up switching to 5Mg methadone which has been a life changer. (I do also take 500mg pregabalin). The amazing thing is that it works really well and I no longer have itching. Contrary to what some people experience, not everyone has the itching problem go away over time. The itching can become so bad that you can't sleep because you are scratchy all over you body. It's a close second to the torture that RLS can be.I hope my experience is helpful.

I developed itching as the first indication my rls meds are wearing off. If I take them first sign of the itching or before I don't have a problem.
