The doctor want to try me on Cymbalta, which is an SNRI. Does this drug affect RLS as do the SSRIs?

Cymbalta is listed as a medication to avoid on the RLS-UK website. :( rls-uk.org/treatment Scroll down to Medications to Avoid.

You might find it makes no difference to your rls symptoms. I happen to be in the minority that can get away with it.

Happy new year! As Lunawildwolf says there are some who can take SSRI without too much trouble. I do but it is obviously up to each person to see what happens.

Totally agree with Lunawildwolf and martino. You may well be in the minority Rwall and it makes no difference to your RLS symptoms.

Like amitriptyline, for 1% of sufferers it can help but for 99% of sufferers it makes symptoms much worse.

Only way to find out is to try.

Sorry but it didn't work for me.

Hi, it just didn’t work for me. I am using anafranil now in Turkey which isn’t as bad as cymbalta

It sent my RLS into orbit just like the SSRI's (Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, etc.) all did.

Not what you're looking for?
