hey, just wondering how i should go about taking magnesium supplements if i’m taking gabapentin. i did get some magnesium oil spray today though, so maybe if the supplement isn’t something i can do, i can bypass it with the spray. what do you guys think?
(66 mg per 4 sprays or 560 mg per teaspoon)

I don’t know if magnesium and gabapentin aren’t compatible hopefully someone more knowledgeable will reply. However I swear by magnesium and the best way for the body to absorb it is via the skin not orally so spray on oil or salts in bath. I actually use all three methods! The oil is pricy but you can simply make your own by putting salts into a gently simmering pan of water and stirring until dissolved, allow to cool and put in spray bottle. Simple as that turns £5 of salts into £80 + worth of oil, nothing else is added and not to strenuous to do. Good luck.
I bought a spray called Life-Flo Pure Magnesium Oil. I’ve used it for 2 nights so far. The first night, I didn’t notice a big difference. So last night I used it more liberally, which I still don’t think had the biggest effect on the restlessness. It did make me itchy though. I’ll keep trying though.
