RLS CURE

For 30 years I have suffered from RLS and nothing worked. Some days I thought I would go crazy! Recently I was told that taking an iron supplement would help. So iI did. I only got stomach pain and it did not work. But, as I looked into what i heard and decided to try a time release tablet. SLOW FE iron. I had no stomach pain and after 2 weeks I was free of RLS. 6 months now and I can honestly say this had been the fountain of peace for me. I sleep again and lie still in the morning.

That's really good to hear. You are one of the people whose RLS appears to be mainly caused by low iron stores which now must be much improved.

That's great, I am so pleased for you, my specialist told me to go onto gabapentin and iron for the rest of my life. I too am free and this year has been great☺️I know it may not last, but I am making the most of it. Enjoy😁

So Gabapentin is not one of the medications that could cause augmentation?

No, not Gabapentin

I think iron deficiency may be the answer for my RLS and I have recently added iron to my diet by way of an iron tablet as a sparkly drink....I will definitely look at the slow release tablet. My RLS isn't a problem every evening... don't get it day time generally...but it started when I was anaemic in pregnancy..Glad it works for you and thanks for advice.

It does sound as if your RLS may be due to low iron stores. Have you had your Ferritin level checked? This will indicate if this is the case.

No not had iron levels checked as am already taking statins, BP tablet and osteoporosis meds .. don't like the idea of any more tests etc but taking time release iron is worth trying as can't do any harm?? Thanks.

As far as I know it is totally safe.

It was when I started the slow release that it worked. The other iron did not.

How wonderful for you. I have been taking iron Bisglycinate now for several months. Wonder if slow iron might work better. Will try it.

It was what worked for me. I take it first thing in the morning. Good luck.

Thank you - glad it worked for you! I have taken iron in the past which didn’t make my RLS go away but it seemed to help with the severity of symptoms. I will try this slow release.

The slow release seemed to be the trick. Give it a try.

So what time of day are you taking the iron supplement?

First thing in the morning.

Thanks. With slow release, it may not make any difference, but thought I'd ask anyway. So glad it works; plan to try myself.

Hello Ok How long before results..?

I take .5 Ropinerol.. have to take hour before you think you want to sleep..too soon and you get crazy legs.

I hate the symptoms that occur early evening when you want to rest.

I bought some of slow release..I really hope it works....sure is a crazy deal..

Best to You

Gene
