I wasn't aware that you can have ferritin infusions.

However, if you mean iron infusions, I believe that they should work withon 12 weeks and the effects can last up to 24 weeks.

Hopefully they will help you, but be warned that not everyone benefits from iron infusions.

Roughly 40% find they help.

Cheers.

It can take three months, (if you are one of the lucky ones), but I think there is doubt about its efficacy while you are still on Requip.

Are you still on Requip?

If you’re still on Requip and suffering augmentation, iron infusion won’t help.

If suffering augmentation the only solution is to reduce Ropinirole very, very slowly. Read the pinned post on Augmentation at the top of the page.

What is the level of your ferritina?

It worries me that I have recently suggested to two members that they reduce their dose of ropinirole or rotigotine. I even suggested how much they should reduce it by.

However they both halved the dose overnight, a reduction of 1.5mg. I tried to contact them both and one replied, but I haven't heard from the other. I have no idea what happened to her. I hope she is OK.

If you do reduce the ropinirole, please be careful, reduce it in steps of 0.5mg or even 0.25mg, no more. Only reduce it once every 3 - 4 weeks, no less than 2.

Not what you're looking for?
