I have rls symptoms for past 6 months can i use feroglobin b12 for relief???
Hello.
It might be a good idea to check a few things first. If you answer a few questions.
Can you describe your symptoms?
Do you mean they only appeared 6 months ago, or did you have them before and they got worse?
Do they keep you awake at night, either you can't fall asleep with them or they wake you up later, or both?
Do you have symptoms every day, or less than 3 days a week?
Have you had a doctor's diagnosis?
Yes, you can take feroglobulin B12. It will do little or no harm.
The iron in them may help. However, it would be a good idea to have a blood test to see how much they will help.
The blood test you need is a test for ferritin. It has been found that 50% of RLS sufferers can benefit from a ferritin level of at least 100ug/L. If your level is nelow that, the iron in the feroglobulin may help.
B12 can be a factor in RLS. It isn't such a major factor as iron, but if you have a deficiency it can help. If you don't eat meat, you may be at risk of B12 deficiency.
Do NOT expect any sudden improvement in your symptoms due to taking the feroglobulin. If your gerritin is low, it can take quite a while to raise it by taking iron orally.le
There are some other things you can do to help relieve symptoms.
RLS is often caused or made worse by various things which act as "triggers".
If you're taking any medicines at all then they may be a factor. Rather than list them all, if you are taking any, it would be simpler for you to say what medicines you are taking.
Alcohol, refined sugar and caffeine can also be triggers.
Depending on your answers to my questoons, I may be able to offer more suggestions.
