Four nights of twitchless sound sleep, and I do realise how lucky I was, but now it's over. Why though does it wait until i switch off the bedside light before it starts? I am walking the floor and listening to the gale and lashing rain, wondering if it's worth putting the kettle on.
I hope you are all having a restful night.

I thought it was settling down but as soon as I'd finished plumping up the pillows it starts again. Kettle's back on, all welcome.
No chair allowed in my RLS state. I always wish I could sit and read, but it’s pacing for me! Thankfully, these nights are fewer in number now for a while hopefully ,
Restful nights are something else I used to have! My legs usually stop around 5 - 5:30 and I get up at 7. Good news is I have caught up on a lot of reading and am working on some dance moves.
On a bad winter night I sometimes put on the fire lay on my back lifting my legs up and down in a scissor fashion, sometimes even 2 at a time and watch TV, all at the same times. Other times its herbal tea toast and marmalade and sometimes its yoga or pilates. It was good news to hear about the potential medical Cannabis progress in the UK.
Mine acts up the same way, some nights I feel great until I get in bed and then my legs act up. Sometimes I elect to get up and head for the couch to watch TV, on occasion my RLS disappears on the walk to the couch. This disease is totally unpredictable.
