Anyone awake?

Hi fellow twitchers

Any one else’s legs jiving tonight ? Strange but for the last three nights have being getting sort of electrical tingling in my neck and shoulders plus pins and needles in right hand. Does this potentially mean I am heading for full body RLS or am I just getting paranoid.

Going to try looking at my diet, see if there are any triggers I am overlooking. I do like my glass of red wine so hope I don’t have to cut that out, life with RLS is bad enough without having to go teetotal 🤦‍♀️

Sorry I was up until the early hours but then had a diazepam sandwich and passed out.

I get RLS all over, but I don’t recall it starting with those symptoms.

Off to the doctor you must go. It could just be a trapped nerve or something similarly innocuous .

I know what you mean about drinking ,responsibly (🤔).

Become teetotal, and vegan? Shoot me now.

Ring the surgery......go on .......now. You may get an appointment in a couple of months if it’s anything like mine.

Hello Bear

But wait, haha (evil laugh) I already have an appointment booked for next week, always good to try and plan these things well in advance as you just never know 🤔. Getting an appointment is harder than stopping myself from twitching, it’s so true.

Sounds like you got some sleep, well done you, so jealous!

Hello CrazyLadyLegs.

I’ve been thinking. Which is generally something I avoid doing , as it invariably results in confusion resentment, and acrimony.

The rationale behind some of the pen names used on this site are not difficult to fathom.

Take yours for example . You being (a) a lady (b) possessing legs, and ( c) being crazy, one can immediately see the logic in your alias of choice.

Others are more cryptic. But it’s something to dwell on during those long nights I suppose.

Just a thought.

I was perfectly sane and normal until RLS “Kicked in”. Well that’s in my opinion however others would disagree most strongly.

But you are so right in that : I am a lady (haha, cough), have legs (admittedly ones set for self destruct), and without doubt “crazy” ( it helps enormously with the sleepless nights).

I agree with Bear. I think it is more like something in your neck like pressure causing the pins and needles in your hands. I have had this for years and physio helps.
