I have heard really good things about methadone. Apparently once the dose methadone is right it a case of set and forget .BLESSED 😴

Cannot get it Australia 🇦🇺 however if I was a junkie and in Jail I could probably get it and for free

It is such a shame that people like us who really need these kinds of medications in micro doses have such a hard time to get treatment .

It breaks my heart to think of elderly people or people who have no understanding of medications and no one to advocate for them , how do they get through.

I'm Australia too, if you go to QLD sleep you can see they will give methadone if needed. Maybe just a change of doctor is needed?

Hey, you can private message me on here if you like. But yeah, if you'd like to try methadone it may just be a case of going to a clinic who is aware of the current suggested treatment's like QLD sleep.

I probably think it wouldn't be their first line of treatment bit would depend on how you responded to other meds.

The more we can talk about RLS and the treatments that work and those that don't the better for the possibility for more understanding. I actually wrote to the nuerologist who refused to prescribe methadone to me in hopes he will expand his understanding and knowledge.

Hi - I understand your wanting to inform the neurologist/doctors/nurses, I have also tried this approach. It did`t work for me - they still continue to prescribe what they have always done. It is good to read of successes though.
