Omgoodness what a difference

Following on from my cry for help a couple weeks ago . I tried a couple of things . I was on 40mg of both citalopram and pramipexle and was augmenting and also ready for hitting my head off a wall . Over the 2 weeks I weaned from 40mg of citalopram to be only 5mg per day ...by the end of this week I will be off it completely ...I have reduced my pramipexle from 40 to 30 and an taking CBD capsules (Holland and barrett) I CANNOT believe the relief I've had in my symptons ...I have just today introduced turmeric capsules and magnesium capsules in the hope this will help me lower my dose again of pramipexle. Feeling so much better in a short space of time . 😀

That level of Citalopram would have had me bouncing around the house like a lunatic. Jebus! A lot of people with RLS suffer terribly when given antidepressants, (often they are not even needed).

I am delighted you have taken things in hand and are getting relief - long may it last.

Thank you. I used no idea that this would he the case until I joined this page. I just did what the doc told me . I had Been on both meds for over 25 years. I had huge anxiety and I lost my mum and dad when I was 14 and 21 and coulnt cope as my sister is severely disabled so found myself at 21 years old caring for her with no parents. Doc told me I would be on the meds forever. I'm coping totally fine with the 5mg and confident I'll be free of them in a week .

That is the problem, instead of being allowed to work through that terrible grief the Dr numbed you with drugs with the result that you spend your life trapped in a morass of syrupy thoughts and no ability to heal and move on.

You will have done more good for yourself this past few weeks than a life time of Drs. Well done, and full steam ahead.

I am delighted for you!!

What do you mean by 40 or 30 pramipexole? The maximum recommended dose is 0.25 mg. Are you talking about mg?
