Just to reply to the answers you have given me it has been a huge help and I will make an appointment to see my doctor, unfortunately she does not know of my history as I moved to another area about 2 years ago, so she has just carried on my repeat prescription, but I will have a chat with her and get a blood test done to check the ferritin levels checked.

Again thank you you all have been very helpful.

Kind Regards

Hi, I too am finding that the help is amazing. Just a tip to make a double appointment if possible as the normal time might be pushing it if you need to give a history. … Just a thought. Good luck and I hope you get some satisfaction. My doctors appointment is on Thursday so I'm getting a bit anxious about it- but excited too!
