Magnesium is essential for proper nerve and muscle function, amongst many other things, so it can assist if your magnesium levels are low.

I understand that most of the Western World is low on magnesium, so taking a supplement may help and cannot harm.

Magnesium Bisglycinate is the best. Take the full suggested dose, I think that would be 500mg elemental magnesium.

Dear Parmentier

How kind of you to respond. Having run out of Ropinerole on Friday I've been trying "mind over matter" - (hopeless).

Therefore the information was very much appreciated. Thank you. Am off to buy some and shall ask for the one you recommend.

Kind regards ' Caroly

Ropinirole is a dopamine agonist and will make the disease worse in the long run through the process known as augmentation.

So, if you are on a small dose, and can keep it there, fine. But if you find you have to increase the dose, take great care.

Dopamine agonists are very problematic in the long run because they shut down the brain's own dopamine system.

Ask your doctor about augmentation and dopamine withdrawal.

Hi Ceed - Yes, Magnesium oil helps some people as I understand it. It did nothing for me personally, but others find it useful. You can also try some supplements called Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc. I take those before bed and they help many nights...

I use magnesium a lot. I take a supplement, use magnesium oil daily ( even carry it with me) & have magnesium footpaths at least once a week. Certainly helps me, although at first I didn’t notice any difference, so stopped. Soon went back to it though!

Sorry, should have said footbaths, not footpaths. My arthritis is causing me to hit the writing iPad keys.
