How to make/attach tags to posts?

Having been born about 60 years too early, I still haven't understood how to make/attach tags to things. A name tag on a suitcase is about my level of comprehension. When I post things here, however, something or somebody asks me if I want to add/change suggested tags, but I can't for the life of me see where I'm supposed to go to do so, or what I'm supposed to click. Is it the 'add topic' button beneath the writing window? I seldom dare click on things in case everything goes pear-shaped - which it often does anyway - and the whole epistle has to be re-written. :-)

The tags refer to the search criteria in grey at bottom of the post-mostly generated by some bizarre algorithm deep within HU psyche. For instance- if you happen to mention "rubber" in your post ,they will suggest "condom" as a tag. At least they offer you the option to 'detag' this occurence.

I still haven't figured out how to get pictures etc on to this site- but suspect it's an issue of mobile versus laptop criteria.

It is possible to copy and paste into this post.

Hope that helps somewhat.

Cheers.
