Hi all,
Recently I damaged a tendon in my ankle, and had strict orders to keep weight off the injured leg.
Receiving absolutely horrible cramps in both legs, but I can't help the injured leg! Any tips?

Massage or stretching?
Or using one of those vibrator "thumpers" for massaging.
What do you think is causing the cramping?
One cause of cramp can be low hydration. Could it be that you're trying to avoid having to make your way to the toilet by not drinking?
Cramps are generally not part of the RLS symptom parade. However, they sure preceded my RLS episodes. It is mostly a mineral electrolyte imbalance probably magnesium and/or potassium. I use 1/4 tsp of sea salt and 1/4 tsp Cream of Tartar (potassium) in juice. Mg oil rubbed on the legs is also good. Lastly - follow the athletes - I like the Fizz Endurolytes from Hammer Nutrition. hammernutrition.com/product...
