Hi

I having been suffering with rls for 6+ years now I have tried drug therapy and old fashioned tricks

(Keeping feet cold walking on cold floors magnesium)

It’s now st the point I can’t sleep and can’t even sleep in the same bed as my husband help please

They are very supportive of each other.

I think the first thing is making sure your iron ferritin levels are over 200.

That’s where I have started.

I am due for new blood work and he is always checking everything

What medications have you been on- dosages and for how long. All meds.!

There are many triggers for rls- consider keeping a diary of intakes to discover " coincidences "

The doctor tried both meds which are for Parkinson and they where for 6 months each. To no avail

But I will start keeping a diary thanks for the idea

What meds. were those (lots of different ones out there)? Pramipexole? Neurontin? Neupro patch? Something I’ve forgotten?

What are you taking now?

Just to reiterate what Madlegs says, do you take meds. for something other that RLS? It’s important to know because lots of meds. (ex. antidepressants) can make RLS worse.

That’s okay about the questions

I’m not on anything apart from Panamax which is not much help at all when my legs have no control

As I have said I am doing the keeping my feet cold ( don’t like cold) and just walking
