My iron infusion has helped

I had an iron infusion a few weeks ago and I did say I would never have one again coz of the bad side effects I had, but I must admit just in the few weeks of having it done my restless legs have settled alot, now some nights I'm finding myself not having to take any sifrol.

Good for you! But what were these side effects that were so bad?

I had really bad throbbing headaches that I could not get rid of, it seemed like every bones in my body constantly ached and my fingers were killing me, it was hard to hold on to anything. Also hot and cold sweats all day and night. These side effects lasted nearly 2 weeks.

Sounds awful. But it also sounds like flu symptoms. Are you sure it was owing to the iron infusion? If so, I wonder of anyone else had similar side effects?

Yeah true it does sound like flu symptoms, but I rang the hospital where I had the infusion and they told me I was having severe side effects and if I needed another infusion I would have to have something before hand to help reduce the side effects
