CANNABIS

Just popping in to let you all know that I have finally got hold of some cannabis. It should be arriving in two days.

I have been told that it works wonders with RLS so here's hoping it will work wonders on me. I will keep you posted on the effect.

Remember start low and if you take too much and feel panicky have something sweet to eat, (that works but I'm not sure why maybe blood sugar levels drop).

It works for me. Hope it does for you! Some varieties are more effective than others though. But this isn’t a big problem.

it really did not work for me, sometimes the opposite - is there an idea what strains could be better than others? Also there is a possibility of long term use messing up your dopamine system: nature.com/articles/mp20162...

Interesting.

However, the key question is, what is “severe cannabis dependence”? I.e. how much cannabis do you have to take to fall into that category? Effects of cannabis may be totally different at lower levels of use - as with most food, nutrients and meds.

One always have to keep thinking critically, even (especially?? 🤓) when reading Nature papers.

"Participants were: age 21–55 years; DSM-IV criteria for cannabis dependence or current marijuana use of average twice per day atleast 5 days per week for the past 4 weeks."
