Bad night
Mine do every day. Its frustrating and depressing. Can't sleep a full night. I've tried gabapentin which doesn't work. I don't know what to do. I don't want all kinds of drug trials. Any supplements you have heard of at all?
Tonic water which is vile but worth it if it works for you, it didn"t for me! or you can have it in tablet form which is Qunnie. My Gp put me on some differnt tablets which do work when my iron levels are good, they aren"t at the mo! waiting for iron infustion. Drives me mad they can"t get this aminea under control! always got low iron!
Hi,
I'm sorry to hear that! It is incredibly frustrating, isn't it? I know you're incredibly tired and fed up, but would you have the energy to try one of my suggestions below? These are what have helped me.
soaking my legs in warm water
stomping my feet
stretching my legs as much as possible, relaxing, and repeating
From the ankle, rotating my foot counter-clockwise
Really massaging my legs with my hands, starting at the hips and moving down to the ankles
Hope you can get some relief soon!
Thanks I will give those ideas a try.
So sorry. I understand. Makes me wanna scream sometimes.
I am so tried
Hi,
I just briefly looked at your profile and notice that you have a lot of other issues that could also explain the tiredness. Are you on a lot of meds.? The reason I'm asking is because meds. can be tricky -- not only do they have their own set of possible side effects (two of which can be poor sleep and fatigue), but the amount of drugs in your system can really do a number on you. I know because I'm feeling my strength returning now that I'm on my way down the cocktail of drugs my previous psychiatrist had me on.
I suggest going over all your meds. -- prescription and non -- with your GP.
Short story about medical side effects:
(A couple years ago now) I was utterly convinced I had narcolepsy. I was exhibiting symptoms of it -- falling asleep in public places and feeling weak when having strong emotions (or any emotions for that matter) -- so I requested to have an MSLT (test for narcolepsy) done. I was beside myself with anger and frustration when the test came back negative, but was reassured when the doctor told me that some medicines can cause narcolepsy-like effects.
Sending energy your way,
Thanks I will get a med check
