I am one of fellow posters who is "testing" Zincum Metallicum. I ordered from Amazon (£7.00) and it has just been delivered from Bulgaria. It is a Boiron homeopathic product. The tube container is written in Bulgarian, which I cannot interpret. The strength is 15ch and researching suggests a daily dose of 5 capsules 3 times a day. Can anyone confirm this is correct please? They are 4mg capsules I can figure out in the label but I don't know how many capsules are in the tube.
Anyone already taking these?

Like you, I was tempted to buy zincum metallicum and bought them for £7 on Amazon too. Mine came from Greece.
I know the original poster suggested taking 5 under the tongue 3 times a day but I have tried homeopathy before and the advice differs depending on homeopathy you consult. Some suggest 2 pills every 2 hrs for first 6 doses then twice a day . Others suggest trying just one pill and observing effect.
I took them as directed and had a really, really bad night of RLS. According to homeopaths that could be an exacerbation showing the pills have worked. Or it could be coincidence- I was just having a bad night.
As we're all different, give it a try and see what happens.
For £7 it's been an inexpensive punt for me but don't think I'll be taking any more.
Thank you for replying so quickly. The reason I am interested in homeopathic treatments is that I had a friend with a kidney disease. His GP also specialised in homeopathy (unusual I think) and put him on a course of tablets. At first my friend said there was no change; if anything the pain was worse, but the doctor had warned him the first days would be like that. Anyway, after a few weeks of the tablets he was right as rain again and the pain never came back. So I will try for the time it takes to empty the contents of the tube and re-evaluate.
I am off pramipexole (just) and taking 300mg Magnesium Citrate and alternate days of 20mg Gentle Iron and looking for more than an hour of sleep.
"Big Red Face" job for me. I said one hour but I have napped a little during the day as well. Still pacing the floor from midnight till dawn though. I have always been a night owl so that's my weakness I suspect.
I tried the z.m. , 5 tablets under the tongue, 3x per day, not close to food, and it didn't help at all, sadly. Kept it up for 3-4 days, then stopped as I read that if homeopathy doesn't work in that time frame, it probably isnt going to.
Well, I tried the zincum metallicum. As it was first time i kept one tablet under the tongue and though I let it dissolve it was the most disgusting, more than bitter, metallic taste which gave me acid stomach and I could "taste" it through my nose a day later. Did anyone else experience this or have I got a bad tube of pills? I can never repeat that experience, just the thought makes me gag.
Never had that experience taking all the 80 pellets (5/3xday), no bad taste at all. This is not the first time I take homeopathy med and it never tasted bad. Like everyone here said : we are all different and will add with a very complex body . Alia22
Thank you Alia, Maybe it is just me who found the taste more than awful. Were your pellets 6C or 15C? and did you get any benefit from the tablets please?
I don't know what to do next - should I order more or try to take the ones I have got? No, I cannot do that! Too disgusting for me. Should I just forget them as not suiting me? Any advice from anybody would be gratefully received.
