blood test

Hi everyone,

I wrote previously about my difficulty in getting a blood test for my serum ferratin level.

Well, finally I had one, and my result is 125 (a little high if anything, said my GP). But she said my vitamin B12 level is a bit low and suggests that i should perhaps take a multi-vit.

I should be grateful for some advice on that.

Cheers, Lorrinet

I just started on liquid b12 and it helps with my energy.

OK, thanks.

My last ferritin level was 108. Yours is ok, not too high for any problems to arise. So at least you and i know that our ferritin is not our reason for RLS. My Vit.B was a little low, and my doctor gave me some Vit. B pills but not for RLS.

Can problems arise if the level is too high, and what sort of problems would they be?

Mine was 650 after I had an iron infusion and it only helped my RLS a little bit. Doc didn't have an issue with the high number.

My serum ferritin was 351 and serum vitamin b12 615

There was no mention of them being high!
