What medications are you on at the moment?
Don't know if it's the same thing but when my RLS was at it worst, my feet used to feel like my toes and heels were trying to meet each other underneath my foot. The pain was horrendous. Fortunately now I am medicated this doesn't happen. Good luck with it.
My rls is really bad if I do more walking than normal !,
Wish I had your motivation, the rain is stopping me from doing anything lol 😁
You can try to 'build up' the walking. With very small steps. When I cleaned up from pramipexole (2015) I couldn't run anymore. Reason for cleaning up was sudden neuritis. Couldn't eat, couldn't walk seemed to be a blessing in disguise after all because I knew augmented from theI took 6 years pramipexole.
The cleaning up took three months at least and after going through hell I noticed that any form of tension / to much pressure caused by a workout (muscular pain) or stress - nervous exhaustion triggered my RLS. I was a sportsman at daily base and now I ended up with rls-attacks that lasted for 20 hours. This forced me to begin from zero: with ten jumps on a mini trampoline every day, after that a ten seconds run at the running machine which I extended with seconds over weeks. Now i am running with intervals to avoid overdoing my muscles. This works for me, I can do this every day and it is like reprogramming the body so it won't react to changes in my workout.
I have a strict training schedule. I have to limit my workout and stick to this. With new exercises I always work the same, with 'small steps'. I start with 3 reps, stick to the 3 for a week then extend the reps to more or to series of reps.
This might be useful info to my rls-peers I hope.
