I've discovered the cure for my daytime rls. Weeding my garden at onset. Those who would like to partake in this cure feel free to come over. Plenty of weeds for everyone!π
Don't forget to smile today! π

If I were in the USA I'd pop over and help you. My own front lawn is full of dandelions so I should get my wellie boots on and follow your example.
Jools x
i try to smile when i see a good pile of weeds, and then really look at the flowers and my veg just starting to grow
I find gardening a good diversion also and provided I don't overdo it it also makes me sleepy in the evening.
Haven't been able to get out to the garden the last few weeks and went out today to find all my potatoes have come up. Spent a happy half hour earthing them up and removing copious amounts of weeds in glorious sunshine (naturally the weather is good as all the students are doing exams).
That is a very cute baby in your picture. You will have to train him/her up for weeding duties in due course.
My daughter is studying in Belfast this semester she also said the weather has been so nice but she has to study! I just hope she comes home. She loves Europe so much!
That's my adorable grandson! I got him his own little set of garden tools!
Wow, Belfast. That's just up the road from me (comparatively speaking) maybe she would come down and help with my weeds! Though I hope she doesn't suffer from rls.
I can relate to how you feel. My daughter is studying in Germany this term (not so far as Belfast for you but still ... Not just up the road) and loving it there. I hope she comes home too.
Your grandson is very, very cute. He will surely lure your daughter back. If I had a relative like that back home I wouldn't want to stay away for long.
Haha! Good luck, she never weeded for me...well not without lots of complaining !
She's at Ulster! Fortunately no rls. She has the anxiety & panic attacks though. So proud of how brave she is to be on this adventure all alone! Met so many nice people and forever friends from all over the world!
Well depending on what weeds we will be pulling I might help! I've found weeding to be beneficial too
On a serious note, for me there is nothing as therapeutic as a sunny day in the gardening - the stretching and gentle exercise along with distraction is all good for RLS and the results are great for the soul. The weather in the north of Ireland is sublime at the moment so not a second to waste out of the garden Long may it last.
Oh my! Weeding means something entirely different there than in the US doesn't it?! Haha!
I should have said pulling dandelions! πΌ
Oh we call them weeds here in the UK. just raffs has a different weed on his mind.
Shame I can't start weeding at 'x' o'clock or whilst out to dinner! But yes it does help to get up and about which is sometimes difficult when you are so tired...
