I had the most bizarre thing happen to me at 1 am. I awoke to excruciating pain in the side of my leg above my ankle bone. It was like pulsating shock waves that hurt really bad. It lasted for about 20 minutes and then went away. Has anyone else experienced anything like this from RLS?

Hi Polly- I think you may get a better response from "Pain Concerns " - what you describe would not be a normal rls experience.
More like muscle or nerve isssue.
