Hi they must affect some people differently, I take them and have for over three yrs ,they don't seem to bother me but if you have just started them and things seem worse they might not be for you

Yea im on them just over a week and my rls is the worst ever, im exhausted, this is my 4th type of anxiety medication and they all seem to affect me in the same way, my sister is grand on them so it must be how my body reacts to it, im running out of options to help my GAD.

It is listed here: rls-uk.org/treatment/ as one of the medications to avoid, silleecharle.

Have you tried Trazodone? Or Mirtazapine ( Remeron ) which does not worsen RLS for most people?

Have you been prescribed the two I mentioned that appear to be ok for most RLS sufferers?

No havnt tried those so will speak to doctor about changing over, its a vicious circle, thankyou 😃

I tried both Sertraline and Mirtazapine recently and they seemed to be counterproductive for me. I take Wellbutrin (= Zyban) now and it has improved my mood and it also has a small positive effect on my legs. On the other hand it worsens my sleep.

Apparently it is known to, so I came off mine thinking the RLS would improve but it didn't.

Mine hasnt improved, I still need to take my rls medication everynight but by stopping the sertraline I managed to fall asleep rather than be up all night with my arms and legs dancing
