I have been on Horizant 600 for 4 months I tried to stop because I cannot afford the cost.I cannot sleep without it and I am not clear on how to ease off this drug and still get sleep.i tried benzo and low dose hydrocodeine but lay awake with terrible r.l.s. And can't function very well at work after one night.Any ideas?

try generic neurontin. horizant is just neurontin with encarbil, which is removed during the first passage thru the liver giving free neuronti[at a higher dose]. try adjusting an oral dose of neurontin. oral neurontin is also very cheap.

I take generic neurontin which is Gabapentin. Horizant is not yet available in generic. And won't be for several years.
