Kratom Not Banned in U.S.

In the U.S. the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) has decided not to ban Kratom right away, although they still may in the future. But since it was scheduled to be banned tomorrow, this is very good news. I think many vendors probably have sold all of their kratom, but I'm sure there are still many vendors with some to sell. I'd search on Reddit to find some if I needed to order.

That is very good news for all the people in the US who use Kratom and get relief from it. Maybe the UK Government will have a change of heart after making it illegal here in the UK.

Hope you manage to find some and it keeps working for you.

Good luck,

No way the UK Govt. will change their mind. They have been approached by a cross party group telling them that cannabis is useful for a variety of pains and conditions and they were told it will not change status, despite much supporting PROOF of its effectiveness - which is much more robust than the evidence for anti-depressants that are handed out day and daily.

The new legislation in the UK was ill-conceived and they were told by the experts it wasn't right and to add insult to injury the most common killer drugs two of the most harmful ones you can take - alcohol and tobacco were left out!!! Prop up big Pharma, support their friends in the drinks and tobacco industries and ensure a continued targeting of the poor through unfit and unfair drug laws. Welcome to Britain the home of democracy :D :)

Now if that doesn't send a message as to ordinary people about the governing body of the UK attitude nothing will!

Great news to hear this great substance has got a reprieve in the US, we adopt much from their, (crap food, crapier TV, etc), its a pity we couldn't get some sensible people to adopt the shift towards cannabis legalisation, it would help hundreds of thousands if not millions!

Well, we still are not sensible about cannabis. Cannabis was made a Schedule 1 drug by Nixon, in the sixties, and is STILL Schedule 1. Many states have passed laws allowing it, but it is a felony to possess on a federal level. This results in all kinds of problems. You can't carry it over state lines. To do research on a Schedule 1 drug you need a special license that is very hard and very expensive to get etc. We really thought this year it would come off of Schedule 1 but no. Lots of opinion on what is behind that. I think most people think Big Pharma is behind the effort to keep marijuana Schedule 1, and to put kratom there as well, since both provide low-cost, low side-effect pain relief which would really cut into the profits of the big drug companies. What I've heard is that Pres. Obama tried to get it off of Schedule 1 and failed, but there is an understanding that no one will be arrested for using it in a state now where it is legal. However, our prisons are still full of people convicted on marijuana charges. It's a disgrace.

Yeah, I forgot about the federal Govt. I remember cannabis dispensaries being raided all along and here is some good footage of the cops that raided one of these places, destroying the evidence ;)

about 4 mins in they start eating the stuff. Talk about hypocrisy.

With the cost of drugs in the US I am sure cannabis and kratom are very much needed by many.
