From my understanding it is a sedating histamine so grand for a hay fever that us keeping you up!

Maybe the are thinking if she sleeps the legs wont bother her.

Can't see them prescribing something that is against what is in your notes but always wise to check.

What did they say about the Phenergan 25mg when prescribing it?

He gave you Phenergan in place of Zoplicone for SLEEP? no no no. @ totally different kinds of meds, and it may make some people sleepy, but I can almost promise you, Phenergan is a bad idea 99% of the time.

Phenergan is a anti-histamine and anti-histamines can make RLS worse.. If you are worried about taking it then contact your doctor. But i would be reluctant to taking it because of it known to make things worse.

It is high on the list to avoid for RLS. There are always exceptions, BUT, it is pretty universal that this med, which is also an anti-nausea med WILL make your RLS worse. See the treatment page on rlshelp.org See list of Drugs to Avoid. I strongly suggest you check it out, as almost any antihistamine/anti-nausea drug will ramp up your RLS. There ARE meds for allergies, depending on what country you are in, that will mostl likely not bother your RLS, one being Allegra (fexofenadine) or Claritin (Loratadine) We have to go by trial and error. Are they giving you this med F

OR allergies or another reason?? We need to check every med out when we have RLS. As you will see the "Drugs To Avoid" list is NOT short.

Sad but when you see something like this it makes me wonder how many Drs are daydreaming through their careers. Drs don't, (often), listen to us!

Raffs, Doc's see so many patients, we HAVE to be our own advocates! We have to check out drugs they are giving . Sounds like he/she was treating for one thing without considering your whole history ?
